On September 11th, Nkosi Zwelivelile Mandela, the traditional leader of the Mvezo Komkhulu (The Great Place), South Africa, led a delegation to visit Zhengtai New Materials in the Jiangyin Economic Development Zone, accompanied by Mr. Hon Dak Chung, Chairman of International Resources Limited, and other senior executives.

At Zhengtai New Materials, Dr Cao Zhicheng, Technical Director of Kuncai Technology, gave Mandela and his delegation a detailed introduction to the development plans, plant layout and production processes of Kuncai and Zhengtai. He gave a comprehensive explanation of the company's independent research and development of the extraction method for titanium dioxide production, as well as the production control system, sales system, digital system and safety management system.
At the reception hall of Zhengtai New Materials, Xie warmly welcomed and met with Mandela and his delegation. Xie first introduced the history, production and operation and global development strategy of Kuncai Technology. He expressed confidence in the cooperation between the company and South Africa, and thoroughly analysed the feasibility of cooperation between Kuncai Technology and South African minerals under the framework of China-Africa strategic cooperation. He expressed strong support for providing technological innovation, technical support and strategic cooperation for the development of South Africa's mineral resources. He also expressed his willingness to make full use of Kuncai Technology's advantages in technology research and development, international logistics, mineral exploitation and production development to support South Africa's development and cooperation in various fields such as education, transportation, trade and minerals.
Mandela and his delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm reception by Xie, recalled the Chinese President's visit to South Africa and the series of measures to support South Africa's development, and sincerely congratulated China on its economic achievements. They noted that South Africa is currently the second largest economy in Africa, with a relatively high standard of living for its citizens and a more stable economy compared to other African countries.
